Spencer is an associate attorney for the Elman Joseph Samples Law Group, LLC, a Chicago-based law firm which concentrates in Illinois personal injury cases involving vehicle accidents (i.e. car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian.) The firm also handles cases in which people have been hurt or killed in other settings, such as premises liability injury cases (including “slip & fall” accidents), workplace accidents, and injuries and accidents that occur in nursing homes.

Spencer graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. After spending some time as a special education teacher, he obtained his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During law school, Spencer was involved in numerous extracurriculars including the Intellectual Property Law Society, Lawyers Out Laughing, and the Barrister’s Ball Planning Committee. He became a licensed attorney in November of 2024.

Spencer is a member of the Illinois State Bar. His professional association memberships include the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, IPLAC, and the Young Lawyers Division.

Spencer’s hobbies are exercising, playing guitar, being social with friends, going to concerts, and watching the Buffalo Bills.
